Favicon for WordPress in 5 Minutes or Less

In today’s competitive internet markets that competitive edge can be the difference between no dollars, and lots of dollars, success and failure. You get the idea, so pay attention to the details.
The fastest and, in our opinion, best favicon for your website is based off your logo. Follow these steps and you’ll have your favicon up on your website in less than 5 minutes!
- Go to http://favicon.cc click on the ‘Import Image’ link on the left.
- Once you’ve found your image off your computer click ‘Upload’ and it’ll show up on the next page
- You’ll notice that it looks UGLY in the huge view but if you look below that (you may have to scroll down) the small view is often MUCH more appealing.
- Click the ‘Download Favicon’ link and you’ll download it to your computer.
- Your next step is to FTP into your webserver and upload the file into the root directory of your website.
